When it comes to popularity, Half-Life is way far then Half-Life 2. Half-Life was the best shooting game of the era. At that time, no one has ever seen a game like Half-Life. The graphics were a top-notch, fantastic concept and flawless work.

Half-Life became famous all over the world within no time. On the other, hand the same thing did not happen for Half-Life 2. The people were curious about it, but the popularity level was not near the Half-Life 1.

Graphics Quality

Half-Life 2 is a development of the 21^st century and improving with time. Moreover, it is also developed with the help of the advanced platform. Therefore, when it comes to graphics quality, Half-Life 2 is the winner. If you compare the 20s, games with Half-Life than Half-Life will win. Unfortunately! It cannot survive in the 21^st century.

Both versions have some fantastic missions. However, after intense research and personal experience, we came to know that the missions of Half-Life were more challenging and intense. The mission of Half-Life 2 is also good but not good enough. Every die-hard gamers still remember that boss mission of Half-Life in which only the boss can hear you, and you have to launch the missiles.

Half-Life has a better storyline then Half-Life 2.

Half-Life 2 has many bugs, which increased the bounce-back rate of Half-Life 2.Players are complaining about an immediate drop of FPS, screen delay and many more. On the other hand, due to low-quality graphics and frequent upgradations, Half-Life has only a few minor bugs.

Weapons

Half-Life 2 includes better and high-quality weapons. Moreover, the number of weapons are also increased in Half-Life 2. The shooting effects are better than Half-Life 1. Half-Life has one flaw; it has a limited amount of weapons. To make it survive longer, it is necessary to add weapons that are more amazing.

System Capability

Half-Life 1 is easy to play on almost every system. I even installed it in my old laptop (Core 2 due). Surprisingly, the result was appreciate able.  However, same thing does not apply for Half-Life 2. It is hard for average and below average system holders to play Half-Life 2 smoothly.
